It was said to me, at the beginning of this journey, that recovery is a long road and it never ends. That remains true, except it's not "recovery" I focus on anymore (like riding a bike, I do it now without thinking), it's more a thing like self-improvement. Financial responsibility, productivity, follow-through, you know. Being nice. Being good.
As always, for lessons successfully learned the hard way, I have very many to thank:
-Difficult situations help you learn.
-Time will help a fresh hurt.
-Nothing is permanent and everything changes.
