This little piggy.

I like this concept, with the individual rectangles. I'm cooking up a little drawing project in my head and I might do something similar. By: Emily Prince, via.

Steal all my records.

When I was little, my sisters and I would freeze the little containers of yogurt my mom would buy. Fruit on the bottom, of course. One layer of icy, sweet fruit, one layer of slightly sour, creamy yogurt. Popsicle genius.

I got a new computer here at work today. It is fast, fast, fast.

White boss is gone for the day at the beach and Japanese boss is gone on a business trip. Ahhhhh...so nice.

We had a seven-foot Burmese python growing up. It was radical. I remember sitting with it in the living room and just marveling. By: Yimmys Yao, via.

Iko iko ah nay.

My lungs are unhappy. There is a beast in them. Out, beast, out!

Oh my. It turns out that if you don't read your Google Reader for four days, you'll never be able to get caught up again. Oi.

Hmmph. Missing work is balls. Too busy to do anything fun.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Back at work, finally. Catching up. Real! Actual! Work! Not paid dallying. Oh, oh well.

What you know about Thursday?

Well, y'all, I am still pretty sick. All the usual symptoms, all having a party in my head. Everybody go home. Party's over. I got shit to do this weekend.

For real. By: Mark Ovaska, via.

Back in the day, towards the tail-end of my foray into drugs, I went to see an addiction counselor (a prerequisite for a methadone program that in the end wouldn't accept me) and he gave me a test about my outlook on life. My results scored identically with women who are incarcerated. It was like I had some hope for release but was still in my cell, making hash marks on the walls. I'd be curious to see what my score would be now. Anyway, when I was ten days clean I gave that counselor a call and said, "I'm free!!!"

Om mani padmi ommmmm.

I've pounded my immune system today with water and vitamin C. We shall see. Feel a bit better than yesterday thanks to 800mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours.

Elicit illicits.

Dearest Boy has been sick with a sinus thing for a week or so now. This morning I have a tiny bit of a sore throat and my sinuses feel all funny. Nooooooooo! I never get sick! Balls. Water and Lemon Therapy time. What is Lemon Therapy, you ask (probably you don't, but you should know anyhow)? Wellllll:

1. Take a lemon. Roll it on the counter to get all them juices flowing (sexy, right?).
2. Cut it in half. Squeeze all that juice into a small glass (mm-hmmmm).
3. Add about seven shakes of cayenne pepper.
4. Put a splash of warm water in there.
5. Drink it up and jump around because it's sour and hot.

It cures you, it really does. And way better for your liver than Emergen-C. A thousand years of tested and true home remedies can't be wrong, right? Right!

There are two types of people in this world. Those who hate to see people kiss, and those who love to see people kiss. Me, I love it. I also like (good) porn a whole lot, so that may be that. Via (who never credits photos are far as I can tell, tsk tsk).

Sha na na na.

This weekend I murdered my thighs with dancing. All fun, though. I drink pretty seldom now and boy is my tolerance lower than it used to be. C'est!

What's Going On?

Been raining and raining and raining here in Portland. Today, yesterday, tomorrow, all of it. It's fine and okay if one can snuggle up indoors, but whose life is that? Not mine.

La la la la la la la I love you.

My left ear is slightly plugged up. What on earth. And my bagel smells funny. WHAT ON EARTH.

I need a new watch. I wear an 80s-style black Casio calculator watch which, don't take me wrong here, is awesome. But I need something more fancy. I like the look of analog watches but I need an alarm to go off every day to tell me to take my BC pill. Sigh. All the sites I normally do internet shopping on only have big flashy digital pieces. Rar.

Fruit party! If I had friends like these, I'd eat thirteen pounds of fruit. By: Satomi Shirai, via.
